CCEE1235 Back To School

When I chose this theme for our challenge, I didn't realize how very little I had on this subject.  In fact, this is the only image I have that works!

The printed paper has little apples all over it,  and the school bus has the single apple.  I tried to tie in the green of the leaves with the ribbon. Ah, well.

Please join us every week on Thursday for a fun challenge.  You can link your card HERE.  Be sure to look at what the team did too!

CHF08 - Circles, Circles, Circles

Our Cornish Heritage Farms challenge this week is to use circles.....and I took our hostess Dianne literally, and added three layered and stamped.  The daisies are #810, and are only inked at the top of the image.  The stem goes farther, and has more leaves attached. The top half of the card is done with my cb and EF.

Please join us and link your card HERE, and we'll see you again in two weeks.

CCEE1234 Paper Piecing

This week I chose the Paper Piecing Technique for our challenge.

I stamped this sweet image, Child with Bouquets (532-09 from Rubbernecker Stamps) on white cardstock, and on the purple plaid, to piece her dress.  I used markers for her hair and flowers, and then punched tiny flowers again in plaid.

I Finished the card with a piece of green cs, ribbon, a flower, and leaves.

Please join us again next week, and be sure to add your card HERE so we can see it too.

CCEE1233 Direct to Rubber

I am your hostess this month, and the theme for today is the direct to rubber technique.  I love to do this.  It ruins my markers, but the results are so pretty.

In case you don't know how to do this, color directly on your stamp with markers, huff, and stamp.  Stencil-type images work really well.  Here I have used Rubberneckers 537-01 Florals 2 - Rose Silhouette.

Please join us and link your card HERE, and come back next week.

CHF07 - Animals

Our hostess today is Barb, who set the theme - Animals.  I couldn't resist using this adorable baby tiger digi, #742E - Tiger Hiding.  I added the sentiment (1401 Cutest Little Baby Face), 'cause I think his face is really cute!

The dp is from Sandy Lion, and the image is colored with markers.  The grass is cut with MS scissors.

Please join us in two weeks for another Cornish Heritage Farms challenge.

CCEE1232 Shaped Card

This month I am the Hostess for the CCEE Challenges - make a Shaped Card.

out of the cast.......

Here's how my hand looks out  of the cast........and a close-up if you click on it.  still very swollen, and the exercises are KILLERS!  Below is my new splint, which I can thankfully is removable for showers and the hot tub.  I thought I would be stamping really soon, but I guess not. Boo-Hoo!
I am missing taking part in the daily challenges, but I got far enough ahead in my stamp company obligations that you will see what I scheduled until I am able to start again.  Hope to see you all soon!
